| I am a postdoctoral
associate affiliated with the Physics
Department and the School of
Engineering and Applied Science at Yale University. My
research encompasses a wide variety of topics in statistical mechanics,
including protein pulling and folding, non-equilibrium dynamics of
glassy materials, optical properties of disordered nano- and
bio-materials, and structure/dynamics of granular media. Since
statistical
mechanics applies to such a wide variety of phenomena, I follow an
interdisciplinary approach to scientific research and maintain active
collaborations with researchers from Physics, Engineering, Chemistry,
and Molecular Biology. |
